| Application Notes |
IHC: Use at a dilution of 1/15 – 1/25. We suggest an incubation period of 60 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. High temperature treatment of formalin-fixed tissue sections with 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 must be performed prior to the immunostaining.

Background
The ETS1 is a transcription factor known to regulate expression of a number of genes involved in extracellular matrix remodeling. ETS1 is absent from normal gastric epithelium but is expressed in approximately 60% of gastric carcinomas and oral squamous cell carcinomas with a significant correlation to the tumor stage.
